November 16, 2020 by Austin McDaniel Can I travel from Alaska through Canada by car? The United States and Canada have announced a mutual agreement to restrict travel across the border to essential travel only. It is always best to call the border crossing before you leave to determine if your travel will be allowed. The border crossings at Beaver Creek, Haines and Skagway are controlled by the United States Customs and Border as well as the Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) which is enforcing the Quarantine Act. All non-essential (discretionary) travel into Canada remains restricted.
