June 23, 2020 by Austin McDaniel I am a health care worker – do these travel mandates apply to me? Yes, this mandates applies to all travelers into Alaska, even essential workers and critical infrastructure. If you are traveling into Alaska in order to work at your health care job, you must follow the requirements of Mandate 10 Section III: Requirements for Critical infrastructure employee travel. This means that you need to submit a community protective plan as described in Section II(b)(i). It does not matter how many employees work in the business – a sole practitioner would also fall under this section. Please visit https://covid19.alaska.gov/unified-command/protective-plans/ for directions on making a protective plan. Note: health care workers on personal travel need to follow the other mandate sections that apply to individual travelers.
