June 5, 2020 by Austin McDaniel What should you do if your business or employees support critical infrastructure and you have travelers coming in from out of state? If your business is included in Attachment A, and your workers must travel to enter Alaska, you need to submit a protective plan for maintaining critical infrastructure to firstname.lastname@example.org , “outlining how you will avoid the spread of COVID-19 and not endanger the lives of the communities in which you operate, of others who serve as a part of that infrastructure or the ability of that critical infrastructure to function.” Instructions for plans can be found at https://covid19.alaska.gov/unified-command/protective-plans/, and plans may be submitted to email@example.com. Once you submit a plan that satisfies the requirements on that site, it is presumptively approved and you can proceed as soon as it is submitted without further direction from the state. You may be contacted if modifications are needed. Remember that each worker must submit a declaration form.
